		<description>Great post, and I hope that it will put most people off from trying to breed chihuahuas!

As you point out, people think that breeding is a licence to print money and have no idea what they are doing. The real breeders (who do it for the love of the breed) rarely make a profit, once you factor in vets fees, food and everything else young pups need.

My mother-in-law used to breed English cocker spaniels and she was VERY selective about who she sold the pups to :)</description>
